Study finds that college students are using web search engines and presentation software over other technologies in their academic coursework
A study published in International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning surveyed 111 undergraduate college students (90 female; 21 male students) at a Mid-Atlantic school to explore their skills, comfort levels and perception of the benefits of using technology for educational purposes.

I am an Arts and Humanities major. I love what I study in the arts, but in the larger society is now focused on STEM education; they see it as the route to innovation. While I see the value in STEM, I think that it is also important to see that innovation does not just come from STEM. An article in the Washington Post discusses this.
